How does it work?
1. Reserve your items by phone (701-549-3794), by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or online*. Leave a message that includes your name, phone number, and the title and author of the materials you are requesting.
2. Once your materials become available you will be notified. Pickup will be available during curbside hours.
Who can use curbside pickup? Curbside pickup is available for current library patrons whose account is in good standing. If you have overdue materials or a balance due for lost items, you must return the materials and/or pay any balance before you pick up any held materials. All materials due during the library closure have been renewed until July 27, 2020.
How do I reserve items? You can reserve most materials by phone (701-549-3794), email (email@example.com), or online.* Leave a message that includes your name, your phone #, and the title and author of the materials you are requesting.
Requests are limited to 2 per customer at a time. Once your hold is available, you will be notified. You will have 7 days to pick up your materials. After 7 days, your materials will be placed back on the shelves.
Where can I pick up my materials? Your held materials will be placed on a table in front of the library or in the entryway during curbside pickup hours. You will have 7 days to pick up your materials. After 7 days, your materials will be returned to the shelves.
What are the curbside pickup hours? Monday through Friday 11am – 5pm. If you are unable to pick up your held materials during this time, please leave a message at the library, so arrangements can be made for you to get them.
What if I no longer want to check out the items I have on hold? Call the library (701-549-3794) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Leave a message that includes your name, phone number, and the title(s) of the materials you wish to release from hold. Or release the holds from your online* account.
How do I renew materials? Renew materials by phone (701-549-3794), email (email@example.com), or online*. To renew online*, login to your account. You may renew items if no one else has requested them, and if the renewal limit has not been reached.
Where do I return materials? Return materials to the box in the entryway of the library. PLEASE make sure the door is closed tightly when you leave.
Returned materials are quarantined before being re-shelved or released for reserve based on the most current COVID-19 information available.
*Online access to the Walhalla Public Library Catalog is available to current library patrons whose account is in good standing. A Username and Password is required.
